2) Use cashback rewards: Cashback rewards are a great way to earn money back on your shopping because you can actually be rewarded for shopping! Sounds like a win-win. And, you can use the cash at any store.

3) Don’t impulse buy: Impulse buying usually leads to overspending. Next time you’re out shopping, take your phone and put it on airplane mode which will stop any incoming notifications that may be tempting you to buy something, such as an email from Amazon.

4) Prefer store brand over name brands: Store brands are a great way to save money on groceries because it is basically the same thing as name-brands. Near their respective name-brand product, you can find them in the store. And sometimes, they’re even cheaper than generic products!

5) Exchange plastic cards for tangible money: You probably believe that using debit card to buy things is safer than paying with cash because you only have one card to deal with instead of bills. But, if your bank account gets hacked, and you have no way of keeping track of what transactions were complete fraud, then it’s really easy for someone else to get their hands on your assets.
