Hang up reminders of all the things you’re grateful for in life.

Recall your life in five minutes, twenty minutes, an hour, or even twenty-four hours. All of this is about putting yourself in the future to tell yourself what you are grateful for. When you do this every night before bed, you feel more content and positive.

It will seriously help the relaxation process, and the smell is so calming that you’ll fall asleep before it’s fully smelt.  Many people noticed that they were having trouble sleeping because they had started taking medication for anxiety and sleeping pills which were not working out because they felt like they were making them sleepier than when they were awake.

Have an alarm set with soothing sounds instead of jarring beeps

Have your alarm set on natural sounds like rain, ocean waves, or other types of sounds that help you relax into the moment. They are also great for getting you to wake up in the morning.

Darken the room slightly by opening the curtains or get curtains that completely block out any light.
